A suspect is in custody after taking hostages at a North Columbus, Ohio, Taco Bell on Tuesday.
The suspect fled to the Taco Bell after allegedly robbing the PNC Bank on East Dublin-Granville Road around 2:30 p.m., ABC 6 reported.
The suspect may also have been spotted at a nearby apartment building with inky hands and jumped out of a second story window to avoid police.
A SWAT team was set up outside the Taco Bell after possible hostages were reported. Only minutes later, the man released two hostages, surrendered, and was taken into custody, ABC 6 reported.
SR-161 was shut down in both directions due to the police activity but was later reopened, 10TV reported.
The Columbus Dispatch reported that one person was shot in the incident and another was beaten by the suspect and was taken to a hospital in Westerville.
