A Chick-Fil-A manager named Eric has banned his teenage employees from using slang because it isn't professional, and now his list of unacceptable and annoying phrases is being shared across the Internet.

A picture of the list, which includes words like "cuz" (cousin), "3Hunnid" (three hundred), and "ratchet" (a ragged woman), was initially posted to Reddit, but began trending on Twitter shortly after, Eater.com reported.

As the reigning authority in charge of his Chick-Fil-A, Eric didn't have to explain his rationale, but like a good ruler he dove into his reasoning for some of the items in question.

For example, he explained that the word "chill" is acceptable as long as it is used to describe "something that is chilled" and not someone's current or general demeanor.

Evidence of a rebellion in the ranks was also apparent on the list, as someone had at some point crossed out the banned word "bae" (babe). With the weight of a thousand bricks, Eric brought down his fist and his pen, however, re-writing "bae" into the list, explaining that anyone scratching out items from the list will "lose your employee meals!"

Some of the items are somewhat obscure allusions to lesser known viral videos, but whether or not Eric knows that, he doesn't want people repeating their funny lines ad-nauseam while they're standing over the fryer.

CBS Atlanta reached out to Chick-Fil-A for comment on the list, and to ask about its authenticity.

"I saw your story from earlier today about the Reddit user post. While we can't confirm whether the post is authentic, we had a little fun with it today. Thought you'd like to see what the Cows had to say," a company spokesperson said, referring everyone to their mascots' Twitter feed.
