A woman's lawsuit against Chick-fil-A claims a dead rodent was baked into the bun of her sandwich. The lawsuit was filed last week over the November incident.

Ellen Manafalouti said she took a bite out of her sandwich before noticing that part of her bun seemed to be burned "really bad," the New York Post reported. As she took another bite, her co-worker noticed whiskers and a tail, and they realized that a small rodent had been baked into the bun. The co-worker had reportedly gotten the sandwich from the drive-thru of the restaurant in Langhorne, Pennsylvania.

Manafalouti was treated for "extreme nausea" at the hospital, and is seeking $50,000 in the suit for her medical bills as well as emotional trauma, anxiety and PTSD over the incident, the Post reported. Laboratory testing confirmed that the bun contained a rodent, Manafalouti's lawyer said, according to the Post.

The suit alleged that the restaurant "failed to supervise employees who intentionally and/or knowingly served a sandwich to a customer with a dead rodent baked into the bun," the Post reported. Franchisee Dave Heffernan, owner of the Langhorne location from which the sandwich came, said he could not comment on the suit because "it’s an ongoing allegation and investigation," the Post reported.

"We are aware, and the guest’s allegations are being investigated," Heffernan told CBS News. "This is an ongoing legal matter, therefore we cannot comment any further at this time."

Not everyone on Twitter believed the story, but some made jokes about it.
