Cheeteos Popcorn will begin popping up Friday at select locations of Regal Cinemas, the national movie chain announced Tuesday.

The new snack consists of Cheetos-flavored popcorn mixed with Crunchy Cheetos and will come in 32-ounce containers, according to a news release. It's unclear how long the promotion will last.

"We're excited to give moviegoers a chance to experience Cheetos in an unexpected and delicious new way through our first national theater partnership," Frito-Lay North America Director of Marketing Sean Mathews said in the release. "Cheetos and popcorn are the ultimate movie snack combination, and Regal Cinemas is the perfect partner to launch Cheetos Popcorn nationally."

Cheetos Popcorn has been available at a few venues previously, but the introduction into Regal Cinemas is the first time the snack will be available nationally, the release said.

Cheetos has recently collaborated with several national food chains to create unique foods, including Mac N’ Cheetos at Burger King and Cheetos-topped pizza at Chuck E. Cheese.

The brand even had an extremely popular pop-up restaurant in New York City over the summer called the Spotted Cheetah.

Some Twitter users were excited to get their hands on Cheetos Popcorn, but others didn't feel the same.
