Charlie Sheen has reportedly tried to force producers to fire Selma Blair from the FX television series "Anger Management."

On Monday, the boisterous and often agitated 47-year-old actor who once claimed he had "tiger blood," allegedly told the show's producers that he could no longer work with his attractive brunette costar sources close to the show told TMZ.

The rift between the two actors apparently stemmed from a complaint by Blair to "Anger Management" executives in which she described Sheen as a menace to work with -- claiming he's late all the time and has a shoddy work ethic, TMZ reported.

After learning of the apparent complaint, Sheen reportedly became extremely angry, saying Blair's remarks were out of line considering he's the show's star.

Specifically, the source told TMZ that Sheen cited his learning "40 pages of lines per episode compared to her 2."

Blair has appeared in 33 episodes opposite Sheen on "Anger Management" since its launch in 2012, playing the actor's onscreen therapist and love interest.

The next time the show was scheduled to shoot was this past Monday, however it is unclear whether or not Sheen followed through with his threat to producers.

Neither Blair nor Sheen has responded publicly to the rumor.

Last week, Blair apparently tried to mend whatever rift was developing between the two actors by tweeting out a compliment to Sheen.

Sheen, meanwhile, already appears to have another actress in mind to replace her n the sitcom.

Sheen apparently tried to recruit Mila Kunis for 10 "Anger Management" episodes that would pay Kunis $1 million per show, the New York Daily News reported.

Sheen's recent explosion isn't however limited to Blair, having last week verbally attacked "Teen Mom" star Farrah Abraham after she leaked a text conversation between the two.

"Hey, you desperate guzzler of stagnant douche agua," Sheen wrote in a letter to Abraham later obtained by TMZ. "I truly do not recall giving you permission to globally reveal any communication between us. Congrats on surviving your lobotomy and an even bigger congratz on your recent attempt at porn. Your daughter must be so proud."
