A California ghost town is now on sale for just under a million dollars and includes houses, a saloon, hotel, chapel, and museum.

The town of Cerro Gordo was a 19th century mining town that covered 300 acres. It is located in the Owens Valley near Lone Pine, California, about three hours from Los Angeles, and, according to GhostTownforSale.com, is advertised as a piece of the American West.

The asking price of $925,000 is less than many single homes in California, which is one of the most expensive housing markets in the country. Mineral rights to the property are included. The town originally featured silver mining.

Some of the buildings have been partially restored, while others are reported to be “in a state of protected arrested decay.” Views of the Sierra Nevada mountains are another selling point.

The town had a murder rate of one per week on average in the 1860s and 1870s, a Los Angeles Times article noted.

The property has been family-owned for decades, and has reportedly been protected from looters and diggers as well as nature.

Until the property is sold, walking tours will be offered, CBS News reported.

Twitter had some enthusiasm for the ghost town, at least in theory.
