Brittany Snow and Tyler Stanaland are going their separate ways.
"Pitch Perfect" star Snow filed for divorce in the Superior Court of California in Los Angeles County on Thursday, citing "irreconcilable differences," according to People.
In the filing, Snow noted that they had a prenuptial agreement and asked that she and Stanaland split attorney's fees.
Snow and Stanaland got engaged in 2019 and married in March 2020 in Malibu, California. In September, Snow announced their initial separation in a statement on social media.
"After time and consideration, Tyler and I have made the difficult decision to separate," she captioned a black and white image of them on Instagram. "This decision was made with love and mutual respect for one another.
"We have realized we need to take some time and make sure we are each living our most fulfilling and authentic lives. We started this journey as best friends and our relationship will continue to be a priority not only for us but for our dog Charlie."
Concluding the post, Snow asked for privacy "as we navigate this new chapter."
People previously reported that Snow and Stanaland were experiencing marital problems after it emerged that one of Stanaland's "Selling the OC" co-stars attempted to kiss him off-camera.
"They had issues before, but this is the final straw," a source told People. "Brittany never wanted Tyler on the show but he was adamant. He wanted to make a name for himself on his own terms."
Another source shared a similar narrative to Page Six.
"Everyone who knows Tyler and Brittany knows she wasn't comfortable with the show," an insider said. "That's why he did his best to keep his marriage and the show separate, but it only backfired."
Page Six noted that Stanaland was seen getting close with castmates Alex Hall on the same day that he and Snow revealed their split.
