A "Big Brother" contestant was fired by her modeling agency in the wake of racist comments.
Racism from Big Brother's Aaryn Gries, along with homophobic comments, has led modeling agency Zephyr Talent to her firing.
TMZ was the first to report the news
, but the agency later released a statement.

"Aaryn, season 15 cast member of Big Brother, revealed prejudices and other beliefs that we (Zephyr Talent) do not condone," the agency said and TMZ reported. "We certainly find the statements made by Aaryn on the live Internet feed to be offensive. Upon much consideration, we have decided to release Aaryn from her contract with Zephyr Talent. We feel that this is in the best interest of our other clients and our company."
Gries is caught making numerous homophobic and racist comments on the program's after-hours live feed. She calls gay houseguest contestant Andy Herren "queer" and tells Asian-American Helen Kim to "shut up and go make some rice."
When speaking about African-American contestant Candice Stewart, Gries cautions other roommates to, "Be careful what you say in the dark, you might not be able to see that b—."
CBS released a statement to TVGuide.com
: "Big Brother is a reality show about watching a group of people who have no privacy 24/7 — and seeing every moment of their lives. At times, the Houseguests reveal prejudices and other beliefs that we do not condone. We certainly find the statements made by several of the Houseguests on the live Internet feed to be offensive. Any views or opinions expressed in personal commentary by a Houseguest appearing on Big Brother, either on any live feed from the House or during the broadcast, are those of the individual(s) speaking and do not represent the views or opinions of CBS or the producers of the program."
Gries, from San Marcos, Texas, is one of 16 contestents vying for the $500,000 prize for being the surviving member of the house. An online petition is asking for her to be fired from "Big Brother
