Is it possible to recognize by someone’s appearance if they’re having an affair?
It could be, according to the head of a website designed to facilitate encounters for those who are married but looking to hook up.
“Becoming more concerned with one's appearance is often a dead giveaway for an affair,” Ashley Madison CEO Noel Biderman told The Huffington Post.

“If your spouse suddenly seems more consumed with style and putting outfits together after spending years in sweat pants, that is a telltale sign she could be two-timing,” Biderman said.
The Ashley Madison site was started in 2001 and claims it has more than million members. Its tagline reads, “Life is short. Have an affair.”
The labels on the clothing of those engaged in affairs could also be a giveaway. Ashley Madison recently surveyed 52,390 of its female users about their fashion shopping habits and found out Banana Republic was their favorite brand. Also on the Top 10 list were Lululemon, J.C. Penney, Ann Taylor, Macy’s ... and Lane Bryant, a store for women size 14 and up.
More than a third of the women in the survey said they doubled spending on their appearance since they started cheating, The Huffington Post reported. Twenty-seven percent said
they use a secret credit card to do it, the Ashley Madison site said.
In the case of a wife,
other signs of having an affair may include increased sexual experimentation, secretiveness, less nagging, a lack of jealousy, and over-doting, Buzzle reports.
To spot a cheating husband or boyfriend, look for a change in music listening habits, a new car different from the kind he usually chooses, a drastic change in working hours, and
more time spent online, Ehow Mom suggests.
