April the giraffe may be pregnant again, just six months after giving birth live on social media in a feed watched by more than a million people.

Approximately 1.2 million people tuned in to a live webcam set up by Jordan Patch, owner of Animal Adventure Park in Harpursville, New York, People reported. The webcam began broadcasting about 65 days before April gave birth on April 15 and gained steady popularity.

On Thursday's “Good Morning America” broadcast, Patch said April might be pregnant again. “I cannot confirm or deny the possibility of another pregnancy. Are we ready for another giraffe cam, world? You tell me.”

Giraffes can be pregnant for up to 16 months, and some viewers became impatient as they waited for April’s delivery to take place, People reported.

April is 15 years old and already has four calves including Tajiri, the calf born in April, who is already almost 10 feet tall, People reported.

Patch said that April is a good parent to Tajiri, a Swahili word that means hope and confidence. “She’s obviously very in tune to [Tajiri] and protective of him, but she’s also allowing him to take on that independent trait that he has, which definitely comes from his father,” People reported.

Tajiri is growing well and has had an “easy and textbook” life so far, Patch said, ABC reported.

The park’s Facebook page had noted last month that April was medically cleared to try to have another calf and that the park is allowing “nature to take its course” between April and her partner, "Today" reported.

The activities of April and the other park giraffes are still streaming live on YouTube, People reported.
