Andie MacDowell walked the Paris Fashion Show runway on Sunday, returning to the runway at age 60.
MacDowell, a former "Cedar Cove" star and L'Oreal Paris ambassador, launched her career with Elite 40 years ago in 1978, USA Today noted.
She celebrated Sunday's appearance by posting a photo on Instagram, writing, "What a FUN day – surrounded by Smart, Beautiful LOREAL woman."
"I haven't walked a show in a long time," MacDowell said, according to Vogue magazine.
She had just found out she was pregnant when she got a contract with L’Oréal in 1985 and did a commercial at eight-months pregnant, the magazine noted.
MacDowell is embracing getting older.
"It’s a journey, but you can’t go back in time," she said, according to Vogue. "I don’t want to pretend to be what I’m not and have never been ashamed of my age. I want to be positive about right where I am at each stage of my life."
Eva Longoria, Elle Fanning, Winnie Harlow and others joined MacDowell wearing designs by such designers as Isabel Marant, Giambattista Valli and Sonia Rykiel on the floating runway on the Seine, Page Six noted.
