Amy Schumer has revealed that she can't get pregnant again and has considered a surrogate to have baby No. 2. The "Trainwreck" actress, who shares a 1-year-old son with her husband Chris Fischer, opened up about her struggle to get pregnant again via IVF in an interview for "Sunday Today with Willie Geist," which airs this Sunday.

In an attempt to have a second baby she says, "We did IVF and IVF was really tough on me. I don't think I could ever do IVF again," Schumer said in a sneak peek of the episode.

"I decided that I can't be pregnant ever again," she continued. "We thought about a surrogate. but I think we're going to hold off for right now."

It has been a tough time for Schumer and her husband but despite the struggle to get pregnant, they find joy in raising their son, Gene.

"Life is so much more beautiful," she said. "He's the best thing in my life."

Schumer has been open about her struggles to get pregnant and has chronicled her IVF journey on social media. She previously wrote about her experience in an Instagram post.

"I'm a week into IVF and feeling really run down and emotional," she shared. "If anyone went through it and if you have any advice or wouldn't mind sharing your experience with me please do. My number is in my bio. We are freezing my eggs and figuring out what to do to give Gene a sibling."

Then, in February, Schumer posted the results of her "painful and mentally grueling" treatment.

"So ivf went like this for us," she noted in an Instagram post. "They retrieved 35 eggs from me. Not bad for the old gal right? Then 26 fertilized! Whoah right? For all of those we got 1 normal embryo from that and 2 low level mosaic (mosaic means there are some abnormal cells but can still lead to a healthy baby) So we feel lucky we got 1! But what a drop off right?"

More recently, Schumer has been sharing photos of her family and appreciating every second of her time with them.
