Alec Baldwin deleted his Twitter account Thursday after launching a profanity laced rant against a reporter who claimed the actor's pregnant wife was inappropriately tweeting during James Gandolfini's funeral.
While Gandolfini's family, friends, and colleagues gathered in New York City Thursday to say goodbye to the "Sopranos" star,
Daily Mail writer George Stark reported that Baldwin's 29-year-old yoga instructor wife Hilaria was tweeting about smoothies and shopping.

Stark even posted time-stamped screen shots of Hilaria Baldwin's supposed tweets, which seemed to coincide with the time of Gandolfini's 10 a.m. services.
But when Baldwin caught wind of the story, he unleashed his fury with a series of disparaging tweets.
"It is disgraceful that this reporter manufactured a story and never called for comment or explanation, especially when it needlessly diverted attention away from a day to honor the memory of a beloved figure like Mr. Gandolfini," Baldwin's rep said in a statement.
Hilaria Baldwin, who claimed she didn’t even have her phone with her during the funeral, also spoke out in her own defense on Twitter.
