A four-day erection from jailhouse drugs was claimed in a $5 million lawsuit in which an inmate alleged that jail officials did nothing to help him in his condition.

Dustin Lance, of Wilberton, Oklahoma, charged in his civil rights lawsuit filed last month in Pittsburg County District Court that he was mocked and denied treatment for "unbearable pain" caused by the 91-hour erection, the Tulsa World reported.

Lance alleged that he was given a pill by another inmate while incarcerated at the Pittsburg County Jail on Dec. 15, 2016, and that he complained about his situation the following morning.

Ads for erectile dysfunction drugs say users should contact a doctor if an erectins lasts longer thann four hours.

The lawsuit charged that after days of being mocked, Lance was transferred to the McAlester Regional Hospital on Dec. 19 where doctors ordered an immediate transfer to an urologist in Tulsa, the World reported.

Instead, according to the lawsuit, Pittsburg County officials returned Lance to jail where he was released on his own recognizance.

Lance was being held for burglary and possession of a controlled substance, the New York Post reported, but prosecutors later dismissed his felony charges, reducing his crime to a misdemeanor.

The defendants in Lance's lawsuit include the Pittsburg County Sheriff, three deputies and a nurse, the Post said.

County officials attempted to get the lawsuit dismissed because of a clerical error that stated the Lance had died, the Tulsa World reported, but Jon Williford, Lance's attorney, told the newspaper that he was amending the lawsuit to correct the error.

The World said the lawsuit was refiled Oct. 10 in U.S. District Court in Muskogee at the request of Pittsburg County officials.
