Super Bowl 50 ads conjured up all sorts of emotions to plug the usual assortment of new and old products and included dozens of creative celebrity endorsements. Here are 10 favorites of the unemotional news writers who watch ads for a living.

The Doritos expectant father (above) was one of the most popular commercials, said Darren Rovell who did his own best-and-worst piece for ESPN.

It features a father-to-be eating Doritos while his wife is having an ultrasound.

"All of a sudden, the baby starts moving in the womb to reach for his dad's Doritos," said Rovell. "When mom throws a chip, the baby leaps out and the next thing we know -- well, there's a happy, healthy baby."

A T-Mobile commercial with Steve Harvey making fun of his huge Miss Universe gaffe in January also impressed Rovell.

Toyota's "The Longest Chase" Prius commercial scored with Ad Age writer Nat Ives who said it "great writing and acting" to push the vehicle over the full 90 second commercial "without a single hard sell."

"It's one of the most absorbing and entertaining ads in the game," Ives said.

Mountain Dew's KickerStarter "PuppyMonkeyBaby" ad also got Ives' attention -- as one of the weirdest commercials of the Super Bowl commercial offerings.

Horror fiction novelist R.L. Stine, though, saw the "PuppyMoneyBaby" commercial ad this way.

Heinz's Dachshunds dressed as hot dog buns got an A-rating from Chicago Tribune writer Steve Johnson, who noted it was actually released before the Super Bowl.

Johnson also liked the space-traveling Avocados from Mexico; the auto ads using classic rock music from Acura, Honda, and Audi; Seth Rogan and Amy Schumer's Bud Light spot; Jeff Goldblum's Apartment.com's ad; and the Mini Clubman ad featuring tennis great Serena Williams and soccer star Abby Wambach.
