This week, the Obama Administration continued their complete incompetence in matters of foreign relations, with Vice President Biden apologizing to Turkey President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for saying the Turkish leader admitted his country made mistakes by allowing foreign fighters to cross into Syria.
President Obama — who gave Queen Elizabeth II an iPod some years ago — this week referred the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, at a joint press conference by his nickname, Bibi, not Mr. Prime Minister, or even Mr. Netanyahu.
President Obama uses formal titles for foreign leaders – and is no friend of Israel or Netanyahu, nor should he feel close enough to take such an inappropriate action.
"It is not likely that President Obama is simply being warm and friendly when he calls the Israel Prime Minister by his nickname, Bibi, given the less-than-rosy relationship between the two men and given President Obama's derogatory comment about
Mr. Netanyahu in 2011 to then-French President Nicholas Sarkozy, when he said, 'You're fed up with him, but I have to deal with him every day!' " said Morton Klein, the President of the Zionist Organization of America.
Considering Obama has been no friend of Israel, he is inappropriate to call the Prime Minister of Israel by a nickname.
