We're Doing a Great Job of Tearing America Down

I watched the film "Moscow on the Hudson," last night for the first time in years.

It astounded me how much America has moved towards the former USSR.

Agents of the KGB monitoring behavior and speech have been replaced by big social media. The Democratic Party and the Biden administration literally attempted to create a "Department of Disinformation" which is a descriptor originally coined by Joseph Stalin in 1923.

His department was created to counter anything that would challenge the communist party’s narrative. People wait for staples like baby formula. New cars are increasingly rare.

Major governmental departments, such as the FBI and IRS, have been weaponized against Americans. The American people have been told they cannot discuss or share opinions that go against the Democratic Party’s orthodoxy on COVID-19, the 2020 election, Russia collusion, Hunter Biden’s laptop and business dealings with China and Ukraine, Hillary’s email server and connections to Russia, the Jan. 6th protests, Antifa, and BLM’s summer of 2020, radical transgender ideology, and — the border crisis.

Thus, instead of Pravda and Izvestia, we have Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and the mainstream media walking in lockstep with the Democratic Party voluntarily despite the freedoms offered in our nation's Bill of Rights.

Instead of the Gestapo, and the Cheka, OGPU, NKVD, or KGB, we have the IRS and the FBI. Corrupt politicians live high on the hog while, we the rabble, suffers.

Gov. Gavin Newsom, D-Calif., dined at a restaurant (wthout a mask) called the French Laundry. Though many of California’s restaurants are shuddered.

U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and Lori Lightfoot (a Democrat) get their hair done while most salons are driven out of business.

Meanwhile, President Joe Biden, Vice-President Kamala Harris, Dr. Anthony Fauci and others flaunt mask mandates after publicly demanding we wear them "for our safety."

Their children go to private schools while ours are shut down completely.

Our country is the greatest experiment in governance in the history of mankind.

It took us from oxcarts to interstellar space.

For all the "progressives" out there, there is nothing more "progressive" than a country made up of immigrants who escaped the horrors of socialism, communism, and fascism.

We have had failings, but none would facilitate the hatred of American cancel culture.

Perhaps Britney Griner, the spoiled millennial WNBA player rotting in a Russian jail for having a THC vape pen will teach her, and perhaps those of like minds,  how wonderful America truly is — while enjoying the spoils of living in a free country.

There is a rising and unapologetically patriotic movement happening in this country.

America’s largest cities have seen the folly of leftism and grievance politics.

The grand dreams of the classes of 1968 are doing faceplants, and leaving behind a trail of human suffering unparalleled in American history: broken families, fatherless homes, tens of millions of abortions (particularly by people of color), open air drug markets, unfettered theft and vandalism, homelessness, a non-existent border, government command and control and bureaucratic failure.

Eighty-five percent of Americans feel the country is going in the "wrong direction."

This says to me there are around 10% who don’t know or care, and 5% of radical Marxists who want to see it go down in flames. They are calling the shots on CRT, the Green New Deal, the leftward lurch of government and the crackdown on free thought and opinion.

Americans have a powerful weapon against all of this: the word "No."

When we say "No" and insist and declare that we will not comply, our rulers crumble like paper tigers.

When this happens, radical attorney generals, school board members and prosecutors are shown the exit.

We are better armed physically and intellectually.

This entire attempt to tear down the country from within came from the outside.

It's clear.

It's calculated.

It’s the only way the evil forces of the world could take us down: demean our history, demoralize our population, and expand the state.

There is a great awakening going on, whether the left wants to acknowledge it or not.

Fify-plus years of decay and rot have festered in our Democratically controlled cities.

Americans see that Washington D.C. serves only those who are in control and their cronies.

While we have suffered time and time again, government has never had to live without, and those who have close ties to this cabal are enriched . . . the coronavirus  pandemic is a prime example of the expansion of government control and the enrichment of those who are allied.

As I have said for years, we are living in Charles Dickens' "A Tale of Two Cities" or Victor Hugo’s "Les Miserables."

Translation? We have a ruling class (The bourgeoisie) a working poor (The proletariat) and a Bastille (the Jan 6th jail).

All of this will not end well for those in charge who’ve suffered this long train of abuses and usurpations upon us.
