No Taxpayer Money for Planned Parenthood

Two recent major news items pull back the curtain on the seamy underside of leftist politics: Not only are we humans expendable, we are too numerous. Efforts must be made, on a large scale, to limit our numbers. This anti-life agenda of population control animates much of modern leftism.

First came the report from the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services that so-called “end of life counseling” would be specifically paid for. Recall that this item was pulled from Obamacare after the uproar over government-run “death panels.” It’s back.

Such counseling goes on all the time, as a natural component of patient-physician interaction, and is usually appropriate to a given situation. But the government clearly means to boost this activity in order to limit expenditures on the elderly, or on those with serious illness.

The rationale comes from an oft-repeated but meaningless observation that the majority of an individual’s medical expenses occur during their last six months of life. What better way to painlessly save money than to opt for hospice care, or better yet, assisted suicide?

The logical flaw in this analysis is that no one knows when that six-month clock starts ticking. Also, extraordinary care is ostensibly why we purchase insurance (directly or through taxes). The vast majority of medical spending is on routine care, the price of which is inflated due to third party payment.

A serious program to control spending would transfer much of the financial responsibility for routine care back to the individual, through Medical Savings Accounts, for example. It’s telling that official government policy is rather to encourage an early demise.

Then came the horrific undercover recordings of highly placed Planned Parenthood physicians callously discussing delivering baby parts for profit. This brought to light the obvious fact that “women’s health services” is merely a fig leaf for what is the nations largest baby-killing factory.

That they also are illegally trafficking in baby parts is sickening, but not surprising. After all, if your morality permits you to kill a living baby in utero (or ex utero!) then profiting from organ sales is not a huge leap.

Planned Parenthood’s origins are with eugenics and population control; its founder, Margaret Sanger, was a proponent of both. She was an out-and-out racist, and saw abortion and sterilization as a way to limit growth of the non-white population. In that, she has succeeded beyond her wildest dreams, as the majority of abortions are performed on minorities.

Do blacks, who support Mr. Obama at a 95 percent level, realize they are backing an agenda that has resulted in a de facto black genocide?

Taxpayer money goes to support Planned Parenthood, which is an outrage. But Robert Zubrin has posited that the government has for decades been behind massive efforts for population control, as detailed in “The Population Control Holocaust.”

Domestically, sterilizations were performed, often without informed consent, on native Indian populations, and in clinics set up in low-income, predominantly black neighborhoods.

An Office of Population was created within USAID, led by the repulsive Dr. Reimert Ravenholt. Its annual budget ballooned to over $100 million. Zubrin details the genocidal results of these efforts in India, Peru, Indonesia, and China.

The environmentalist movement is also blatantly anti-human, and seeks to reduce our numbers. Policies such as banning DDT and imposing corporate average fleet efficiency (CAFE) standards have done just that. The EPA’s efforts to limit energy production will also prove lethal to many.

Behind the anti-human agenda of the Left lurks a rejection of God, and God’s greatest creation: man. To the left, man is simply a naked ape, devoid of spirituality and divinity. And this is why we must expose, oppose, and defeat them, before they fully succeed.
