We Really Need to Talk About Hillary

Evidently the thought of an untimely suicide doesn’t scare Tulsi Gabbard. After the last Democrat cattle-call debate, she took Hillary Clinton head on. Not that she didn’t have good reason.

Gabbard has some military bona fides as a major in the Hawaii National Guard and she is not hesitant to use that experience to her advantage as she criticizes the U.S. foreign policy of endless war in the Middle East and Afghanistan. Gabbard is particularly critical of our military presence in Syria, which she wants to end.

That was enough to make Hillary spill her chardonnay.

As far as our first female president is concerned that’s strike two and out for the major. Gabbard’s first mistake was endorsing Bernie in 2016 instead of her worship. Criticizing foreign policy that Hillary helped to bollix is the last straw.

Instead of a rational response to a different point of view on foreign policy, Hillary went all Mueller on Tulsi. As the Washington Examiner reported, “Hillary Clinton said that Rep. Tulsi Gabbard is being groomed by Moscow to run as a third- party spoiler candidate in 2020 to help President Trump win reelection.”

On a podcast with Obama lackey David Plouffe, Hillary said, “[Gabbard] is a favorite of the Russians. They have a bunch of sites and bots and other ways of supporting her so far. That's assuming Jill Stein will give it up, which she might not because she is also a Russian asset. I mean …totally.”

That’s two treason accusations in a single sentence! The Romans said, “in vino veritas,” but the only truth in that statement is Hillary is a bitter old woman who is not doing well at keeping it together. It’s bad enough for Hillary to smear Gabbard, but it looks like she also persuaded some of her bitter-enders at The New York Times to join in the attack.

The Times used the always reliable “some Democrats” to write, “[Gabbard] is injecting a bit of chaos into her own party’s primary race, threatening to boycott that debate to protest what she sees as a 'rigging' of the 2020 election. That’s left some Democrats wondering what, exactly, she is up to in the race, while others worry about supportive signs from online bot activity and the Russian news media."

Jill Stein was evidently taken aback by the slander, because her response was to punish the entire nation, “In light of the latest slanderous allegations from @HillaryClinton, I challenge her to a debate. It's past time to give the American people the real debate they deserved in 2016, but were denied by the phony DNC/RNC-controlled Commission on Presidential Debates.”

Thanks, but we’d rather watch Beto’s root canal livestreamed.

The best riposte award must go to Gabbard. She gave better than she got when she told Hillary, “Great! Thank you @HillaryClinton. You, the queen of warmongers, embodiment of corruption, and personification of the rot that has sickened the Democratic Party for so long, have finally come out from behind the curtain.”

Which is definitely telling us what Tulsi really thinks.
