Chief Sitting Bolshevik’s campaign (thanks Kurt Schlichter) has met its Little Big Horn.

After peaking at almost 27 percent in October of 2019, Fauxcahontas has been on a steady downward slide.

As of Feb. 1, 2020, she’s fallen 12 points to 15 percent.

And Warren’s response has not been steady-as-she-goes.

Instead Lieawatha has been feverishly spouting new and oftentimes bizarre issue positions and ideas in a desperate effort to retain some support.

Fox News reports one of her latest is, "[Warren] says she would launch a federal task force to investigate corruption in President Trump's administration if she's elected as his successor."

We have a three word response—"Take a number!"

Investigating Donald Trump is all Democrats have been doing since before he was inaugurated. It’s practically been non-stop.

It would have been news if Warren had said she would be willing to bury the hatchet if she won and let Donald Trump assume "the simple, luxurious life" he told a recent rally audience he formerly led before winning the 2016 presidential election.

Many conservative observers of the left, Tucker Carlson comes to mind, contend most of what the left does in the way of accusations is simply projection. For those readers who are not psychologists, projection is defined as "Psychological projection involves projecting undesirable feelings or emotions onto someone else, rather than admitting to or dealing with the unwanted feelings."

In the case of the left, political projection involves accusing the GOP of doing what the left has already done or intends to do when they regain power.

This is where Fauxcahontas’ investigation comes in:

According to Fox, "The senator highlights that the task force would be set up inside the Justice Department and would hold administration officials 'accountable for illegal activity.' And she adds that she’d ask for all Trump political appointees to step down and would terminate any federal contracts produced 'as the result of corruption.' Warren could use executive actions afforded to presidents to create the investigatory task forces."

Our first impression is that part of Warren’s plan is a great idea.

We’ve wondered for almost four years now why the Trump administration didn’t demand the resignations of every single Obama appointee in the federal government.

It would have been far better to have hundreds of empty desks in federal office buildings rather than keep the collection of back-stabbers and leakers that have hobbled the Trump administration from day one.

As for the investigation of the previous administration’s malfeasance and corruption, well Atty. Gen. Richard Barr and U.S. Atty. John Durham already have that well in hand and indictments should be forthcoming in the near future for Obama administration operatives that went rogue.

But somehow, we don’t think that’s the investigation that Warren wants.
