While it’s not exactly Lexington and Concord, there are actually scattered outbreaks of liberty in Gov. Gavin Newsom’s Lockdown California.

Fox Business reports on the skirmish at Bread & Barley in the town of Covina in The Golden State

A member of Newsom’s "Flustapo" arrived and issued owner Carlos Roman two citations for restaurant patrons eating outside.

Before we go any farther, let us remind you that just recently California health officials admitted there is zero science supporting the closure of outdoor dining to fight the "Flumanchu."

Instead, outdoor dining has been banned in California so people will stay home because there's no place to go.

This means Gavin Newsom’s "experts" have invented quarantine by rebound.

That was the last straw for Roman.

He parked his truck behind the "Flusatpo" vehicle — blocking it from leaving. "He wants to come in and say, 'No one can work.' So, he can't work either,” Roman yelled.

"I’m desperate. Who is going to pay her car payment?"

"Who is going to pay my cook’s rent?"

Roman vows to continue his fight until he’s taken away in handcuffs. Which may be a while since Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva has declared he will not enforce Newsom’s dictatorial orders.

The other good news for Roman is Newsom may have other more pressing problems soon that will interfere with his effort to crush the restaurant industry.

The campaign to recall Newsom is gaining momentum — and money.

Rescue California has been established to organize a petition drive designed to gather enough signatures (1,495,709) to force a recall of Newsom.

So far the signature drive has collected approximately 800,000.

Now Rescue California has received a $500,000 contribution from Prov 3:9 LLC and another $100,000 from plutocrat investor Douglas Leone, which will allow the campaign to increase its efforts.

Thomas Liu, a spokesman for Prov 3:9, told Politico, "We have our beliefs in terms of the direction the state needs to go, and we felt that this effort was worthy of our contribution."

Newsom’s overreach and intoxication with his newly found healing power provided the impetus for the drive. Campaign manager Anne Dunsmore called the effort a "citizen tide" that fittingly enough started with the beach, "Closing the beaches and closing the parks really was the beginning, that I saw on the ground, of the beginning of the end for him, as far as people taking the recall stuff seriously."

The deadline for gathering signatures is March 17, 2021. Organizers are hoping the deadline, only two days after the Ides of March, will be the beginning of the end for the Misrule of Gov. Newsom.

Carlos Roman certainly hopes so.
