Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz on Tuesday lamented the opposition tactics of Senate Democrats to Supreme Court justice nominee Brett Kavanaugh, but said they are "not nearly as bad as what the Republicans did to Garland Merrick."

In an interview with Newsmax TV's "Newsmax Now," Dershowitz was asked about the Senate Judiciary Committee Democrats' protest of the confirmation hearing because they had not been given enough time to analyze Kavanaugh's judicial documents.
