U.S. Should Help Beheaders Meet Allah

Tuesday, 21 September 2004 12:00 AM

I am fully convinced that we are on the right track in taking the war to the terrorists in every corner of the world. I am positively convinced that House Speaker Denny Hastert was right this week when he said that the terrorists would love nothing more than to try and influence the outcome of our upcoming presidential election. And I realize that our country is safer, stronger, and better off under the steady leadership of George W. Bush.

But how many more beheadings can we watch? When will we decide that enough is enough?

By asking that question, I'm not about to suggest that we withdraw from Iraq. Quite the contrary. Despite what John Kerry thinks, you don't tuck tail and run for cover because the schoolyard bully gets worse. America shouldn't fold up its tent and run home because the terrorists are kidnapping innocent people and chopping their heads off in front of a crazed, maniacal video camera operator.

No, we get even tougher. We intensify the battle. In fact, we blow these bastards to kingdom come. They want to meet Allah? Let's introduce them.

I think a growing number of Americans, like me, are starting to get increasingly frustrated at sitting by and watching other Americans get tortured and killed by these religious freaks. You want to get fired up?

Watch the just-released videotape closely of the man who was killed. Try to imagine what he was thinking during his final moments. And then try, just try, to put yourself in the shoes of his mortified, anguished loved ones who saw it, too.

With every brutal execution, the American resolve to stamp out these cockroaches will be greater. John Kerry might think we need to run to the United Nations for approval, but George W. Bush does not. He believes that those who would dare to harm one hair on the heads of innocent civilians who are simply victims of trying to help the Iraqi people must be served our brand of justice, regardless of what France or Germany thinks.

I realize how brutal and graphic these videotaped executions are. I appreciate how upsetting and sickening it is to see these sick, animalistic acts with our own eyes. But actually seeing what they're doing to fellow Americans is the only way to cut through the touchy-feely approach of liberal Democrats like John Kerry and John Edwards.

When Nick Berg was beheaded, his death made its way to our computers via the internet. His final cries haunt us. As horrible as it sounds, I believe that we should start witnessing every single one of these executions. Let every single American see what we're up against.

I hope to see the family members of these poor victims agree with me and publicly state that their loved ones' deaths be shown, over and over again.

I am sick of seeing how some in our country attempt to sugarcoat the brutality and evil of these Islamic monsters. Americans need to be reminded on a daily basis. Perhaps if we are shown these awful deaths, we will all forego political squabbles and be united as a country again. In that unity, we will triumph over evil, we will conquer our enemy, and we will be safe again. In fact, I am strongly considering placing these executions on my website, mikeonline.com, for public viewing. I realize there are those who will criticize this possibility, but I'm becoming convinced that just like we need to always remember the brutality the Jews experienced in WWII, we must never forget what our enemies are doing to innocent Americans in the Middle East.

Do you agree?
