Palestinians said that a 17-year-old Palestinian youth was shot by Israeli soldiers near the Jewish settlement of Kfar Darom on the Gaza Strip. Mohamed Ta'ban was pronounced dead at Shifa Hospital in Gaza City.

In the West Bank town of Tulkarem, a 13-year-old boy was shot in the chest during the clashes between Israeli soldiers and Palestinians on the outskirts of town. The radio, quoting witnesses, said that the boy was shot by an Israeli sniper.

Israeli soldiers were seen in televised reports dispersing dozens of Palestinian stone throwers, and armed Palestinians shot at Israeli soldiers in several areas in the West Bank and Gaza.

A 17-year-old Palestinian from Rafah town south of Gaza reportedly died Monday at a hospital in Morocco. He was shot during clashes near his hometown two weeks ago.

An airplane from Morocco, which arrived in Gaza a week ago with medical supplies for Palestinian Authority hospitals, took a number of critically wounded Palestinians for treatment in Moroccan hospitals.

Since the beginning of the fighting between Israel and the Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza on Sept. 29, more than 180 Palestinians and 13 Israeli Arabs have been killed. More than 15 Israeli soldiers and civilians have also died in the violence.
