Revote Suit Goes to Florida's Democrat Supreme Court

Monday, 27 November 2000 12:00 AM

Some Democrat voters still claim that they found the Democrat-designed, Democrat-approved "butterfly ballots" confusing and that they were too incompetent to vote correctly, even though a classroom of 9-year-olds was able to choose Democrat Al Gore's name with 100 percent accuracy.

A lower court judge, Circuit Judge Labarga, had ruled he did not have the power to order a revote. The 4th District Court of Appeals scheduled a hearing for Monday, but before it began decided to kick the matter up to the high court – also known as Gore's kangaroo court – without hearing it.

"The court decided to grant certification of this case as a question of great public importance requiring immediate resolution to the Florida Supreme Court," said the order as read by court clerk Glen Rubin.

Attorneys for the plaintiffs said they were optimistic that the high court would hear the case.
