Gore Gaining Steam in Broward

The county's canvassing committee is reviewing some 2,000 questionable ballots – ballots with dimples or hanging chad.

In an examination of ballots that ended at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Gore gained an additional 88 votes, giving him a total of 225 net votes for Broward.

But the process is far from complete. At the current rate, Gore supporters say they may pick up 500 votes or more from the final review of Broward's questionable ballots.
