FoxNews's Neal Cavuto is also reporting that 30,000 troy ounces of silver and 369,000 ounces of gold are missing from ther basement of the former Towers, which could cause an inflation spike and higher prices for precious metals.

Stock market officials announced trading will resume Monday after a four-day shutdown. Market systems are to be tested Saturday.

Retail sales in the United States rose in August, the government said Friday, a sign of possible strength in the world's largest economy. While wholesale prices rose more than expected, the increase was due largely to volatile food and energy costs.

The dollar staged a minor recovery on Friday after retail sales were as expected and low wholesale inflation paved the way for further rate cuts from the Federal Reserve.
