Dis-Gracie Mansion

He ought to feel shame but I’ll bet he ran out and bought extra copies for friends and family.

The Mayor is a disgrace to his city, his party and to himself – and he doesn’t even know it!

Yes, crime is down and the Big Apple is again thriving. And, because it happened on his watch, he deservedly gets some of the credit. And, yes, we all know that the next mayor will undoubtedly see the city descend again into the "Calcutta on the Hudson” it had become before Mr. Tough Guy rode into town.

But no matter the state of the city, Rudy’s sexual/personal/marital behavior has highlighted his basic flaw: he is an insecure, petty, vicious man who wants power to do what he could never do as a private citizen: to "get women.”

Henry Kissinger – another ugly little toad turned sex symbol – put it best when he said, "Power is the ultimate aphrodisiac.”

Unattractive Rudy was a ‘loser in love’ before moving into Gracie Mansion – the beautiful 18th century house set aside for the Mayor and family to live in.

Rudy wants it set aside for the Mayor, family -

And his wife – equally unattractive and ambitious – has patterned herself on Hillary: dropping her married name and cashing in on her ‘First Lady’ role to land TV and stage roles.

I won’t bore you – as Rudy has done this week – with the stories of poor Rudy vomiting alone eight times from his prostate cancer chemo while his selfish wife awakes him at 5:00AM with her "morning workout” upstairs. (He has to sleep in the downstairs guestroom and pad down the hall to a bathroom that does not have a shower.)

As if we need to know all these details!

Bill Clinton’s behavior was – and is – shocking. But

But, no, Rudy not only fessed up, he

He looks

Rudy is a guy – not atypical, by the way – who sought public office for the most ridiculous of reasons: to "score chicks” as they say in the modern parlance.

Along the way this once-divorced (he first married his second cousin!) and soon-to-be-again divorced Catholic Republican has proven to be the single biggest hypocrite in American politics.

He betrayed all Republicans back in 1994 when he endorsed Mario Cuomo for Governor over the GOP’s nominee, George Pataki. And then last year he wasted a year "deciding” to run for Senator against Hillary before dropping out with the cancer. But that was a precious year that another GOP candidate could have used to lay the groundwork to beat her. Instead, Rick Lazio ran behind the eight ball the whole way partly because of the late start.

No, it is time for Rudy to divorce himself from public life.

Whatever good he may have done for New York City has more than been undone by his sloppy, slobby and selfish personal conduct.

Indeed, he has starred in an ongoing new soap opera: Dis-Gracie Mansion.
