Supporting Rep. Beto O'Rourke, D-Texas, in his campaign against incumbent Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, country music's Willie Nelson debuted a song "Vote 'Em Out," at a Austin rally Saturday night.
"If you don't like who's in there, vote 'em out," Nelson's sang, as heard on a video posted to Twitter.
"Vote 'em out, and when we're done we'll sing, and dance, and shout."
Nelson has written political songs in support of Democrats before, and his appearance for O'Rourke in the historically red state of Texas has brought him "flak," he told "The View."
Wearing a shirt that read "Beto: U.S. Senate 2018," Nelson urged for Texas voters to oust the "bunch of clowns you voted in."
"Election Day is coming 'round again," he sang, adding: "The biggest gun we got is called the ballot box," per The Hill.
