Katie Walsh is returning to the Republican National Committee, where she will be a senior data and digital adviser, a committee spokesman told Politico on Friday.

Walsh had been a top lieutenant to White House chief of staff Reince Priebus and worked in the White House until this spring, Politico reported.

The White House signed off on the decision to hire Walsh as part of a change in staff Friday that included Ellen Bredenkoetter serving as chief data officer, according to Politico.

Walsh was the chief of staff at the RNC during the 2016 campaign, then in March began work at America First Policies, an outside group that promotes President Donald Trump’s agenda.
