United We Dream, an advocacy group fighting for Dreamers, has installed a massive video screen facing the Capitol building in an effort to convince Republican congressional leaders to replace the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, The Hill is reporting.

The screen will show stories of DACA recipients – the undocumented immigrants who came to the U.S. as minors – and how their lives are impacted by immigration enforcement measures, The Hill said.

President Donald Trump had ended the program in September, but gave Congress a six-month window to possibly save the policy, NBC News reported.

United We Dream is pushing for Congress to replace the program by the end of the year.  The video screen is on the National Mall in clear view of the office of House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., according to The Hill.

"Basically, we’re telling Paul Ryan that we can’t wait," said Nestor Ruiz, who programs the video screen

"We don’t have time to lose. We have immigrant youth losing protections every day."

But Ryan and other Republicans lawmakers have said Congress has until March to act before the program officially ends.
