President Donald Trump ripped Hillary Clinton on Wednesday for blaming her election loss on "weaponized information" guided by Americans – charging the Democrat "refuses to say she was a terrible candidate."
Trump took to Twitter:
In a speech to the annual Code Conference in Ranchos Palos Verdes, Calif., Clinton said: "I take responsibility for every decision I made, but that's not why I lost.
"The overriding issue that affected the election that I had any control over — because I had no control over the Russians — was the way of the use of my email account was turned into the greatest scandal since Lord knows when.
"This was the biggest 'nothing burger' ever."
Trump has steadily slammed Clinton for her interviews and speeches in which she has blamed her November loss on Russian meddling and former FBI Director James Comey's announcements regarding her email probe.
But Clinton hit back at President Trump, also on Twitter, using a garbled word in a deleted Trump post that blew up on the Internet overnight:
