CNN host Alisyn Camerota on Monday said there was "something a little weird," and a "little sexist" about news shows banning White House senior counselor Kellyanne Conway from interviews.

"I rarely play that card," Camerota said on SiriusXM's "Pete Domenick Show." "Guess what, they all spin. So she's worse than Sean Spicer? Since when? She's worse than other people they put out? Why Kellyanne is being banned? So I never really understood that."

Mika Brzezinksi of MSNBC's "Morning Joe" in February said Conway would no longer be booked because she was not credible anymore.

"I know for a fact she tries to book herself on this show; I won't do it," Brzezinski said then. "Every time I've ever seen her on television, something's askew, off, or incorrect."

CNN in February also refused to put the former Trump campaign manager on its Sunday political talk show, but Camerota has had her on "New Day," including last week when the discussion got heated after Conway refused to answer her questions.
