President Donald Trump slammed The Washington Post on Tuesday for a story detailing a woman's claim that he kissed her while waiting for an elevator inside Trump Tower in New York 12 years ago.

Trump called Rachel Crooks' claim "another false accusation" and said it "never happened." Trump said he has never met Crooks.

The Post story repeated earlier claims by Crooks about Trump kissing her during a meeting on Jan. 11, 2006, where she worked at the time.

"He was waiting for the elevator outside our office when I got up the nerve to introduce myself," said Crooks, who was 22-years-old at the time.

"He took hold of my hand and held me in place like this," she said, squeezing the sides of the water glass.  "He started kissing me on one cheek, then the other cheek. He was talking to me in between kisses, asking where I was from, or if I wanted to be a model. He wouldn't let go of my hand, and then he went right in and started kissing me on the lips."

It felt like a long kiss," she said. "The whole thing probably lasted two minutes, maybe less."

The New York Times had first revealed her claims in a story published Oct. 12, 2016.
