President Donald Trump, in a pair of tweets Tuesday morning, noted a report from Fox News' Lou Dobbs casting doubt on the FBI and Justice Department, as well as on Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

Trump first quoted a conversation between Fox News contributor Sara Carter and Dobbs, where Carter said that nothing has been found showing collusion between himself and Russia.

"'But every day, we get more documentation showing collusion between the FBI and DOJ, the Hillary campaign, foreign spies, and Russians,'" Trump quoted from the interview.

Later, Dobbs cast doubt on Sessions, with Trump noting that the show host said former Attorney General Eric Holder "'could be running the Justice Department right now and it would be behaving no differently than it is.'"

During the show, Carter and Dobbs discussed the news concerning documents revealing that ex-FBI agent Peter Strzok and former FBI attorney Lisa Page had sent messages speaking of plans for leaking news to the media.

Dobbs noted that there have already been two years of investigation, but there has not been "one scintilla of evidence" against Trump.

"At this point, here we are, September 2018 and we have a president standing absolutely clean of the charges brought against him," said Dobbs.
