President Donald Trump early Saturday tweeted another attack against Rep. Frederica Wilson, calling her "wacky" and accusing her of "killing the Democratic Party" with her complaints about how he'd spoken to a Gold Star widow during a condolence call.

In the tweet, posted hours before Green Beret Sgt. La David Johnson's funeral on Saturday, Trump encouraged the "Fake News Media" to keep talking about the Democratic Florida congresswoman:

Trump also retweeted claims made through a Twitter account, "Eagle Pundit," which showed a picture of Wilson with former President Barack Obama and claimed that as Trump is "facing team Obama and Hillary Clinton. So they rolled out their last hope, Federica Wilson"

Trump and Wilson have been sparring for the better part of the week, after she complained that he'd told Myeshia Johnson, the pregnant, 24-year-old widow of Green Beret Sgt. La David Johnson, that her husband, who was killed along with three fellow Green Berets during an ISIS ambush in Niger earlier this month, "knew what he signed up for ... but when it happens it hurts anyway."

Johnson was killed along with three fellow Green Berets, Staff Sgt. Bryan Black, 35, of Puyallup, Washington; Staff Sgt. Jeremiah W. Johnson, 39, of Springboro, Ohio; and Staff Sgt. Dustin Wright, 29, of Lyons, Georgia.

As the back-and-forth battles between the White House and Wilson continue, Johnson's funeral will be held Saturday in Cooper City, Florida. Visitation was held on Friday for the 25-year-old slain Army sergeant, reports NBC News affiliate News 6 in Miami.

"I couldn't believe it. Like it didn't feel real," said Terkiya McGriff, Johnson's sister, told the affiliate. "Like, it didn't feel real, but now reality hit me and it was like he's really gone. And I'm not going to ever have my brother anymore."

His widow, also the mother of two more children, was on her way to claim Johnson's body at Miami International Airport earlier this week when Trump's call came.

Wilson Friday night told The New York Times that the White House is "full of white supremacists, The Florida congresswoman at the center of a controversy this week hit back at the White House Friday by saying it's filled with racists.

White House Chief of Staff John Kelly has also come under fire from Wilson, who said that she has acted like an "empty barrel" and boasted improperly about her own accomplishments was racist.

Press Secretary Sarah Sanders Friday defended Kelly's comments, saying that as Kelly pointed out, "if you're able to make a sacred act like honoring American heroes all about yourself, you're an empty barrel."

She added a further jibe at the congresswoman, who is well known for wearing a series of ornate cowboy hats, telling reporters that "if you don't understand that reference, I will put a little bit more simply. As we say in the south, 'all hat, no cattle.'"
