Donald Trump supporter Esther Levy said she and a retired local judge were thrown out of the Cancun Inn, a restaurant in Sugar Loaf, N.Y. because the co-owner told her they did not serve Trump supporters.

Levy told the Daily Mail that she was "still in shock and can barely eat or sleep since the incident."

"We were about to place our order with the waitress when she was summoned by the co-owner and told to not serve us and say we had to leave right away," Levy wrote on the New York for Donald Trump 2016 Facebook page.

Levy was wearing a "Make America Great Again" hat and a Trump button, she said.

The Cancun Inn posted a response to Levy's claim. The owner said, "An employee of ours asked the patrons to leave because they were being rude to the staff and rowdy due to intoxication."

The owner said he wanted to speak to Levy and the "customers involved" and asked them to call the restaurant to give their side of the story.

In an interview with the New York Post, Levy called the owner's claims "ridiculous."

"They made it very clear why we were kicked out. It was because I was a Trump supporter, and that's it," Levy said in the Post interview.

She also posted on Facebook about the restaurant's response.

Alvin Goldstein, the retired local judge, said the owner of the restaurant yelled support for Hillary Clinton at her as they were leaving.

"It was horrific what happened. I'm not used to being thrown out of restaurants," Goldstein said.

Rabbi Bernhard Rosenberg told the Post that he was spreading word about Levy's claims to fight against those who oppose Trump.

"People need to know we are not going to stand for it. We have a right to support him," Rosenberg said.

Trump supporters hit the Cancun Inn's Yelp page and posted negative reviews. The site announced that its support team is monitoring the business' page because of the incident.
