A super PAC which offers donors the chance to win a dinner with Donald Trump has been ordered to "cease and desist" by a lawyer for the Republican presidential nominee, who calls the pitch a fraud.

The American Horizons PAC, which is not affiliated with the Trump campaign, has collected $1.1 million in donations by offering supporters of the Republican presidential nominee a chance of dining with him, Politico reported this week.

That had Trump campaign attorney Donald McGahn firing off a letter to the super PAC demanding it immediately cease using DinnerWithTrump.org to raise money.

"You are knowingly defrauding every person who gives you his or her email address or who makes a donation through your unauthorized website," McGahn wrote. "You cannot possibly provide the prize that your website purports to offer."

He also forwarded a complaint to the Federal Election Commission.

The super PAC is the brainchild of a 25-year-old web entrepreneur named Ian Hawes, who is also the creator of CrookedHillary2016.org, which promises to "fight Crooked Hillary's campaign of lies," Newser reports.
