President Donald Trump Tuesday pressed the Justice Department to act after a report accused Hillary Clinton's top aide, Huma Abedin, "of disregarding basic security protocols" and putting "classified passwords into the hands of foreign agents" — using "Jail!" to hammer home his point.

Trump made his remarks in a Tuesday morning Twitter post.

He appeared to be referring to a Daily Caller analysis. The report claimed Abedin had forwarded State Department emails to her personal Yahoo email account. Every single Yahoo account was later hacked The Daily Caller noted. And it said Russian intelligence agent Igor Sushchin was charged by the U.S. with hacking 500 million Yahoo email accounts.

The State Department had released 2,800 emails belonging to Abedin last week.

The documents were recovered by the FBI from the laptop of her estranged husband, Anthony Weiner. They were released in response to a lawsuit filed by the conservative watch group Judicial Watch.
