Donald Trump says he wants a Supreme Court nominee who is pro-life — and might even overturn Roe v. Wade, the historic high court decision that determined a woman has a legal right to get an abortion.

Answering a question from a viewer of the Fox News program, "The O'Reilly Factor," that Trump name "one specific thing he would do to protect the sanctity of human life," the presumptive GOP presidential nominee responded his pro-life views have evolved, and that "biggest way you can protect it is through the Supreme Court and putting people in the court."

"And actually the biggest way you can protect it, I guess, is by electing me president," he said.

When asked by host Bill O'Reilly if that would mean a judge who would overturn Roe v. Wade, Trump answered: "Well, overturn or — look, I'm going to put conservative judges on."

"So, let me just get this straight," O'Reilly pressed. "Your specific thing to protect the sanctity of life would be appointing a Supreme Court justice that would overturn Roe v. Wade. Do I have it?"

"Well, they will be pro-life and we will see what about overturning," Trump replied. "But we will appoint — I will appoint judges that will be pro-life, yes."

Shortly after the interview aired Tuesday night, Planned Parenthood Action Fund, which has endorsed Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton, fired out a response, USA Today reports.

"Women can't trust Donald Trump. Donald Trump goes on sexist rants that demean and disrespect women, and backs it up with a policy agenda that is dangerous and ignores the very real issues women face in this country," Dawn Laguens, executive vice president of the Planned Parenthood Action Fund, said in a statement, USA Today reports.

"There is so much at stake for women and their access to reproductive health and rights in this election, and all Trump is doing is promising to take us backwards."
