President Donald Trump trained his Twitter rage at a familiar target Sunday — charging the news media doesn’t want to cover “positive things.”

He followed up with a tweet congratulating the tax cuts law for handing “4.2 million hard working Americans” a “large bonus and or pay increase.”

The tweets come as the White House battled a backlash for how it handled domestic abuse allegations against former staff secretary Rob Porter.

Porter resigned last week. Chief of Staff John Kelly reportedly knew for months that Kelly hadn’t obtained a full security clearance because of the allegations from two of Porter’s ex-wives.

Trump also caught flak for having more sympathy for Porter than for the alleged domestic abuse victims.
