President Donald Trump announced Wednesday he is heading to Cincinnati, Ohio, where he would meet with "Obamacare victims."
Trump made the announcement on Twitter:
One person he met with is Raya Whalen, an owner of a playground equipment company, according to Trump in a speech after the meeting, which was broadcast on YouTube.
Whalen's company offered healthcare to its 15 employees, which was not deemed sufficient under Obamacare, and her deductible rose to almost $15,000, Trump said in his speech.
"Dan's story is just as bad," Trump said, referring to Dan Withrow, CSS Distribution Group president. His company faced a 150-percent rise in healthcare premiums, which prevented the company from hiring more people.
"The American people are paying much more for much worse coverage. The coverage is horrendous," Trump said.
