Trump Mocks Cruz, Kasich Alliance: Will Backfire

Donald Trump Tuesday continued to mock rival GOP presidential candidates Ted Cruz and John Kasich for their plans to unite against him in three different states, pointing out that they are both losing to him nationwide by "millions and millions of votes" and hundreds of delegates.

"You take a look at Kasich, he's only, like we call him one-for-42," the GOP front-runner told Fox News' "Fox & Friends" program. "He's won one state out of 42 contests, so you know he's just a guy hanging in."

But there were other candidates, like "great guy" Dr. Ben Carson, or "[Marco] Rubio or [Chris] Christie or even Jeb [Bush] were doing much better than Kasich, said Trump, "but this is a guy, he keeps losing, losing, losing, he stays in."

His comments on Kasich came after he ridiculed the Ohio governor on Monday for how he was eating while he was speaking with reporters. Trump said the governor's table manners were "disgusting" and called him "a stubborn guy who eats like a slob."

Especially offensive to the GOP front-runner was Kasich's on-camera consumption of pancakes, which he suggested was unpresidential.

And on Tuesday, Trump went on to slam Cruz, calling him once again "Lyin' Ted" and saying he is a "disaster" and that "everything he says is so dishonest."

The alliance though, will just backfire on Kasich and Cruz, said Trump.

"When I first heard about it, I said you have to be kidding," Trump said. "They're not going to do that. That's going to make them very weak. It looks like collusion. It proves my words that it's a rigged system. You see it's a rigged system."

The two are both insiders, said Trump, who "want to rig the system against the guy who's going to make America great again. I'm going to make great trade deals and they don't want that, because they're protecting the people on the other side of the deals."

Trump's ire on Tuesday also reached to Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton, who he says he has nicknamed "crooked Hillary" because "she's crooked and the only thing she's got is the woman card. That's all she's got. It is pandering. You know, it's a weak card in her hand and in another person's hands it could be a powerful card."

And, Trump said he'd love to see a woman president, but Clinton is "the wrong person. She's a disaster."

Further, said Trump, "she's guilty as hell in the e-mails. You have Whitewater. Her whole life has been crooked. You look at the [Obama] foundation, the whole life, and the only card she's got is to play the woman card. It may be good enough. A poll came out yesterday where I was essentially even with her and I haven't focused on her."

He also slammed President Barack Obama's plans to send 250 troops in to fight ISIS.

"The enemy is not stupid," he said. "They have a target on their back . . . The enemy which is not stupid is now looking for the 250 people. He shouldn't be announcing it.
