Trump Attorney Jenna Ellis: Barr Denial of Voter Fraud 'Bizarre'

There is real evidence of voter fraud in connection with the presidential election and it was "really bizarre" for Attorney General William Barr to comment that there wasn't any proof of fraudulent activities that took place that would have changed the election results, Jenna Ellis, one of the attorneys leading President Donald Trump's court fight, said Wednesday.

"That really in the media undercut the election integrity efforts," Ellis told Fox Business' Maria Bartiromo on "Mornings With Maria." "To our knowledge, the Department of Justice has not interviewed any of our witnesses, looked at any of our evidence. Everyone I think, every concerned American and the 74 million Americans that voted for President Trump is wondering, where's the Department of Justice?"

Barr on Tuesday told the Associated Press tthat the FBI and U.S. attorneys have been following up specific complaints but have not uncovered evidence that would change the election outcome.

At this point, the Trump legal team is holding meetings to ask state legislatures to "reclaim their authority" and select Electoral College delegates, said Ellis.

The team has made its requests in Pennsylvania and Arizona to appoint electors, and will be in Michigan later today, said Ellis.

The Michigan testimony will include statements from a whistleblower who will talk about observing "tons of ballots" that were filled in or had otherwise been tampered with, said Ellis.

"The election officials actually had this phrase 'just let them vote' and it didn't really matter who came in,' she said. "We have overwhelming evidence of fraud from people who were part of the election who were coming forward who were very, very concerned."

Meanwhile, Rep. Mike Kelly, R-Pa., is seeking an injunction from the Supreme Court to block his state's vote to certify the election based on an "no-excuse absentee voting" plan so the state's certifications don't advance, said Ellis.

"We've seen Democrat operatives trying to rush through the false certifications," said Ellis. "This is overwhelming evidence that the election was tampered with, there is overwhelming fraud ... there are so many different ways that this election was broken in these 6 states, and so all of these cases are moving forward. They're all incredibly important to deal with before the Electoral College meets and votes."
