President-elect Donald Trump's official website for his transition team focuses on the billionaire's business properties for a full quarter of his biography.

After a brief summary of the Republican's upbringing, the bio provides the details of his many business properties located all over the world.

"The Trump organization owns some of the world's top properties, including, among many others, the world-renowned Fifth Avenue skyscraper, Trump Tower, as well as Trump Parc, Trump Palace, Trump Plaza, the Trump World Tower, Trump Park Avenue, and, most recently, the transformation of the Old Post Office Building in Washington DC. In addition to properties that occupy the Manhattan skyline, Mr. Trump owns many of the premier golf clubs around the world, some of which include Trump National Golf Club in Westchester, NY, Trump National Golf Club in Los Angeles, CA, Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, FL, Trump National Doral Miami, and Turnberry Golf Club in Scotland. Mr. Trump owns properties around the globe in locations such as Brazil, Canada, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Panama, Scotland, Ireland, and others."

According to NBC News and the Internet Archive, President Barack Obama's transition website when he was first elected focused on his charitable work and political clear, and did not mention his bestselling books, from which he derived most of his wealth, once.

During the election, Trump notably charged his own campaign for rent in Trump Tower, took the press on a tour of his new golf course in Scotland, and refused to answer their foreign policy questions until after he praised the resort's success, attracting criticism that his campaign is a springboard for his business ventures.
