President Donald Trump blasted former Attorney General Eric Holder’s remark about “kicking” Republicans, and said it is “disgusting” and “dangerous.”
Holder recently revised former first lady Michelle Obama’s stated advice that “when they go low, we go high.” Instead, he said when Republicans go low, Democrats should “kick them.”
Trump, in an interview on Fox New’s “Fox & Friends” ripped into Holder for the comments.
“He better be careful what he is wishing for,” Trump said. “That’s a disgusting statement for him to make.
“For him to make a statement like that is a very dangerous statement. You know they talk about us. We are exactly opposite. My rallies are really calm and well-run and packed with people.”
He accused Democrats of sending in paid protesters to his rallies in the past.
“They have to be careful with the rhetoric because it is very dangerous what Holder says. Holder was held in contempt by Congress. Holder went after Christians. He went after our great evangelicals. He went after the tea party people.”
And he cast doubt on whether Holder will run for president in 2020.
"I don't see him running.,” Trump said. “If he did run I think he would get gobbled up before he ever gets to the election. I think the primaries would gobble him up.”
