Sen. Ted Cruz Wednesday accused Google and other tech companies of trying to interfere in the 2020 election and flip the Senate to Democrat control through the use of censorship and more.

"Google is by far the worst. Google is naked and brazen," the Texas Republican told Fox Business' "Mornings With Maria." "Big Tech has gotten really bad with censorship, manipulation, open political bias."

"Big Tech is a monopoly. I think they've brazenly violated the anti-trust laws," Cruz said. "It is dangerous. It is the biggest threat to free speech in the country."

Cruz claimed Google is "furious that they allowed Trump to win four years ago, and Big Tech is trying to silence any voice of dissent."

The senator has often called Big Tech a threat to free speech, and on Wednesday cited Google whistleblower Dr. Robert Epstein, who told Congress the search engine had been used to meddle in the 2016 election in favor of Democrat nominee Hillary Clinton.

Epstein said Google shifted 2.4 million votes to Clinton and predicted it could shift as many as 10 million votes to Democrats this year.

The senator said he's leading a fight to hold Big Tech and Google accountable for their actions and is calling on the Trump administration to fight them.
