Sean Spicer, Newsmax TV host and former spokesman for President Donald Trump,  disputed his former boss for his claim of widespread fraud in the election, telling Sirius XM satellite radio Thursday that he hasn’t ''seen evidence of it.''

Spicer, 49, lead host of ''Spicer & Co.'' weeknights at 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. EST on Newsmax TV and Trump’s first press secretary, made his comments Thursday on Sirius’ ''The Dan Abrams Show'' after guest host Brian Ross asked if Spicer believed the ''notion'' of ''widespread fraud.''

''I don’t — I haven’t seen any evidence of it,'' Mediaite quoted Spicer as saying. ''And again, I don’t think it helps his case because — it’s sort of like, I always used to say, when the president calls out fake news, I don’t think it helps.''

Spicer was most critical of what he considered Trump’s lack of specificity.

''Similarly, if he sees an instance in Pennsylvania or Nevada, and this particular thing happened, then call it out. But saying that ‘voter fraud’ — I don’t think — it’s not specific,'' Spicer said. ''No one can say, ‘OK, what do you mean?’ Is it that five ballots were allowed in?

''Is it that 40 were thrown away? But you can’t just throw a term out there without being specific.''
