Sen. Rick Scott ripped Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden for not calling out protesters who attacked Sen. Rand Paul and his wife after the Republican National Convention.

During a Friday appearance on Newsmax TV’s “John Bachman Now,” the Florida lawmaker said he texted with Sen. Paul, R-KY., earlier in the day about the incident.

“He said it was pretty scary,” Scott told host John Bachman.

“That’s Joe Biden’s America,” Scott warned, adding “Biden doesn’t say a word about it.”

He said Biden is “worried” the radical left won’t vote for him so he won’t condemn their actions.

"The Democrats will not call out these rioters and it doesnt make any sense," he said.

He said it is President Donald Trump’s commitment to keeping communities safe that will secure him a second term in office.

Scott said American families care about three things, having a job, a good education and being safe.

“We all want to be in a safe community,” Scott said, adding that applies to people of all colors.

“They know that Donald Trump is going to focus on keeping communities safe,” he said of voters.

He said voters were able to see the difference between Biden and Trump during the conventions.

He blasted Biden as a “puppet of the radical left,” while praising Trump for standing up for things he believes in like providing people “the chance to live the American dream.”

“It’s going to be a clear choice in November and Donald Trump is going to have a big win,” Scott predicted.

He said Biden will have a hard time winning over voters if he doesn’t hit the campaign trail. Scott has experience campaigning. Prior to being elected to the Senate, he served as the governor of Florida.

“People like to meet you,” Scott said. “They like to shake your hand. They like to look you in the eye.”

He said elections come down to two things, whether a person believes the candidate cares about them and if they are competent.

Scott noted that is where Biden runs into a problem.

“He’s a career politician and where has he shown people that he actually cared about them and actually had a positive impact,” he said.

Trump, on the other, he said shows that he is out fighting for Americans every day.

“We have got to win in November,” he said of the GOP, adding the party needs to maintain control of the Senate. “We are right on the issues, we have to get out and vote.”
