Former presidential aide Sebastian Gorka ripped into Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee, who raised questions about Brett Kavanaugh, President Donald Trump’s nominee for the Supreme Court.
“We have people like Cory Booker, who admitted to groping a high schooler,” Gorka told Fox News' “Fox & Friends” on Tuesday.
“We have people like Dianne Feinstein, who had a Chinese spy on her payroll for 20 years. We have people like Richard Blumenthal who lied about being a combat veteran in Vietnam.
"And these people are going to sit in judgment over Brett Kavanaugh, who has a spotless reputation? Look at what they have done in just the last 10 days. They are so desperate to stop this good man, this godly man, they have tried to accuse him of being a serial rapist.
"They have lost the will of the American people. Donald Trump became the president. They thought Hillary [Clinton] was a shoe in."
And he said Democrats have “lost their minds.”
Trump, in an appearance in Tennessee on Monday, also blasted Democrats and accused them of trying to slow down the Kavanaugh investigation.
"If we took 10 years, they'd want more time," he said.
"They're trying to destroy a very fine person, and we can't let it happen," Trump said
